Derek Nguyen is the editor of No Credit Check Auto Insurance. He worked for five years as an analyst in personal auto pricing, where part of his job was building and validating the credit-tier structures that this site now explains to the drivers they affect.
He started the site in 2023 because the gap between how insurers use credit and how drivers understand it was the widest he had seen on any rating factor. He writes the scoring, cost and comparison guides and reviews every page annually.
Derek lives in Henderson, Nevada.
